History of The Streams of Joy International Church (SOJ).

Who is the founder of Streams of Joy International?

Jerry Uchechukwu Eze is the lead pastor of Streams of Joy International, which describes itself as “a church beyond a church,” “an unprecedented revolution,” “a movement breaking limits,” “ravaging long-standing systems and structures crossing lines and taking the world by storm.”

The Church operated as a fellowship in 2008 until December 15, 2013, when the first church service was inaugurated after it had completed its state-of-the-art facility in Umuahia, Located at KM 4 Ikot-ekpene road, Umuahia, Abia State.

The church which started as a fellowship with only 7 members has since then grown in leaps and bounds with thousands of members within and outside Nigeria, and have impacted various individuals, organizations, government and groups.

SOJ is known to be an international light house, seeing the presence of committed and responsible disciples of Jesus Christ who are ready to give joy, hope and peace to everyone who walks through their doors. They are committed to showing the love of Christ to everyone the church comes in contact with as well as the maturity of the saints, with efforts driven towards equipping them to become who God wants them to be.

Streams of Joy Church Leadership

Pastor Jerry Uchechukwu Eze

Pastor  Jerry Eze is the lead pastor of Streams of Joy International Church. He went to the Ibeku Secondary School in the city of Umuahia for his optional training and later continued to the Abia State College (ABSU) where he got a degree in History and Global Relations (HIR). While in Abia state college, Minister Jerry Eze turned into the minister of the school Church, at the All Holy people Sanctuary. 

After his graduation from ABSU, in the middle of his degree program, Minister Jerry momentarily worked as a communications specialist for the World Bank’s HIV/AIDS Project. After that, he worked at the United Nations, where he eventually quit and became a full-time minister. Revival is Pastor Jerry’s message, prayer is his identity, and his passion is to see everyone he meets experience God’s supernatural touch. In 2009, Minister Jerry Eze authoritatively surrendered adhering to God’s guidance, and went completely into ministry.

Pastor Jerry is a diligent preacher who travels a lot and has the ability to see supernatural things. He has spoken on major platforms all over the world and is a highly sought-after speaker who is passionate about pastoral effectiveness and church growth. PJ (Pastor Jerry) is also the author and publisher of the best-selling Streams of Joy Daily Devotional, which has been published on five continents.

Pastor Jerry is married to Pastor Eno Jerry, who has been a tremendous supporter of his ministry, with whom he has two lovely children, Jerry and Samara. Pastor Eze is devoted to his family.  

The Streams of Joy Devotional was started in 2011 by Pastor Jerry Eze’s family and author PJ, who followed the direction of the Holy Spirit. NSPPD – New Seson Prophetic Prayers and Declarations

New Season Prophetic Prayers & Declarations, is the largest and fastest-growing online prayer meeting in history.

The evidence is undeniable that this global prayer platform has had a significant impact, bringing the entire world to a standstill and attracting the attention of renowned global institutions like CNN, among many others, who have ranked Pastor Jerry’s YouTube Chanel as the world’s number one. Pastor Jerry’s level of influence over the NSPPD, as they say, is a phenomenon that deserves more research. This level of success in using social media to advance a cause is completely unprecedented. The program comes in various dimensions as follows;

• The first day of the month features the new month’s special prophetic prayers and declaration.
