Who is the founder of The Elevation Church?
Pastor Godwin Akinlabi is the founder and lead pastor of The Elevation Church. The church was commissioned in 2010 by Pastor Godmans’ spiritual father, Pastor Sam Adeyemi the lead pastor of Daystar Christian Center where Godman Akinlabi began his pastoral Ministry. With the God-given mandate to ‘Make greatness Common”, TEC has a strong focus on providing social services, serving as the primary force behind a variety of initiatives, events, interventions, and community outreach programs that facilitate and promote the social well-being of the communities it serves.
Pastor Godman Akinlabi with more than two decades of pastoral experience, is a seasoned and highly sought-after speaker, trainer, and consultant who has delivered lectures and motivated audiences in conferences and churches across the globe. Furthermore, he is a dedicated scholar who holds a bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Akure, a master’s degree in International Law and Diplomacy from the University of Lagos, and an MBA from Manchester Business School. He also completed the 2018 Strategic Perspectives in Non-profit Management program at Harvard University as part of the SPNM18 class.
Godman is a visionary leader who has spearheaded numerous initiatives, interventions, and community outreaches.
