TOPIC FOR TODAY 9TH DECEMBER 2022: NOT TOO LATE
Focal Scripture: Luke 1: 6-7
“6. And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless. 7. And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.”
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
Our Focal Scripture makes mention of the fact that both Elizabeth and Zechariah were well stricken in years. They were not just old; the years had stricken them. It did not make sense to still expect them to have a child. It was obviously too late for them to have a child. Time was not on their side concerning the idea of having a child. It was late, very late, quite late, but it was not too late for God to eventually show up for them as He did.
Our Focal Scripture makes mention of the fact that both Elizabeth and Zechariah were well stricken in years. They were not just old; the years had stricken them. It did not make sense to still expect them to have a child. It was obviously too late for them to have a child. Time was not on their side concerning the idea of having a child. It was late, very late, quite late, but it was not too late for God to eventually show up for them as He did.
Friend, you may be at that place where it is simply too late to reap the harvest you desire; it may be late to have that miracle you desire; it may be late for your approvals to come; it may seem late for that door to open to you; it may seem late for the help you desire to come your way; it may be too late in 2022 for your desired results to come your way; it may be too late for certain expectations to materialize; time may not be your friend.
Today, hear me as I hear the Lord: even if time has completely passed for you to gain the results you seek, as surely as the Lord lives, you will gain that result. You will receive that result that seems too late to arrive in 2022. You will receive that result that you believe is too late to receive. You are about to walk into a new season of results that time should not have allowed you to have. You are receiving whatever seems like it is past time.

By the timing of men, it may have been too late for Zechariah and Elizabeth to have a child; but by divine timing, it was not too late. By divine timing, what was difficult became easy. By divine timing, what looked like it was past time turned around and it was their set time. Hear me as I hear the Lord: even if it is past time, God will orchestrate a chain of results that will shock everyone who believes that your time has passed.
When Jehovah is involved, no time is too late. If God be for you, then nothing is truly past time.
