HISTORY OF NEW LIFE COVENANT CHURCH (NEW LIFE MINISTRIES).
New Life Temple saw the presence of her current leader in the 1982, after which New Life Temple became New Life Covenant Church on Sunday, 6 December 1998.
The church is led by Bishop Tudor and Pastor ChiChi as the senior pastors. Bishop Bismark is also the Chairman of the Council of African Apostles (CAA), which is a coalition of some of Africa’s most brilliant minds and finest apostolic voices who gather to address African issues and bring Godly resolutions.
According to the church’s website, the ensuing thirteen months to January 2000, were spent in a nomadic Sunday migration as we moved between Girls’ High School, Queen Elizabeth School, the Garden Club Hall in the Harare Exhibition Park, and the ZANU (PF) conference hall.
From February 2000 to December 2001, we used the auditorium at 55 Kwame Nkrumah Avenue for our Sunday and mid-week services. Having started with one Sunday morning service, we were running two services from September 2000 and then three services from April 2001. Our move to the Harare International Conference Centre came in January 2002, and we are still there occasionally for special services.
In all the time that we have been negotiating venues, our growth in terms of the numbers and quality of our people has been exponential. Blessed with a very young congregation, we have seen members grow and mature into leaders in both the church and the marketplace. In recent years God has sent a crop of older people to bring stability and added credibility to what has been built by a very young church.
FOUNDING DAY: NLCC was Renamed thus in the year 1988. More so, Tudor Bismark Ministries (an extension of Jabula – New Life Ministries) is an international movement founded in 1989 by Bishop Bismark and his wife Pastor ChiChi Bismark
