The Citizens of Light Church aka Freedom Place is a Charismatic ministry given to true worship, praise and the exposition of the word of God, to bless individuals of all categories and walks of life. The Church sees a weekly attendance of about 3000 persons within her campus. The Ministry is presided by Pastors Muyiwa and Temitope Areo.
The Citizens of Light Church Worldwide is known to be a body of devoted individuals committed to raising generations of believers across the world who are liberated through the light of God’s Word, to live a lifestyle of freedom and establish the reign of God’s kingdom in all that they do and everywhere they go.
We can say that at the heart of our assignment is Freedom – Liberation, Emancipation. This governs what we do and of course is the core of our message. Little wonder, the church is also known as the Freedom Place.
The Headquarters is located at Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
HISTORY OF THE CITIZENS OF LIGHT CHURCH INTERNATIONAL
The Church began as a ministry in the year 2011. The ministry was founded by Pastor Muyiwa Areo and his wife Temitope Areo.

- NUMBER OF MEMBERS: CLC has a total attendance of about 3000 weekly.
- HEADQUARTERS: The Main Campus is located Ilesanmi, University Road, Tanke Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria, West Africa.
- BRANCHES: The church currently boasts of 4 thriving Campuses in Ilorin, Lagos, Ogbomosho and Ibadan, Nigeria.
- FOUNDER: The founder of CLC worldwide is Pastor Muyiwa and his wife Temitope Areo.
- CURRENT LEADERS: The lead pastors of the CLC worldwide is Pastors Muyiwa and Temitope Areo.

POWERFUL WORSHIP: A unique worship experience is a major feature of the CLC Worldwide. As reported by the church, Worship at Citizens of Light Church is lead by Ambience Jewel, an excellent army of worshippers that proclaim the praises of God through the instrumentality of good music, standing on the balance of the Word and the Spirit. They communicate life through their ministrations by total reliance on the Spirit of God.
ATRIUM CHURCH: This is a place where our children are taught the things of God. We have some amazing team members who help to take care of them and the children have loads of opportunities and resources to help them grow up spiritually even from a very young.
