Fountain of Life Church Mission Statements

The Fountain of Life Church is a ministry with a mission to provide a home for the lost; guide those in search of direction, purpose and calling; and raise a people who are committed to making a difference.

Vision; The Fountain of Life Church exists to teach men and women the art of building successful relationships and the principles of leadership so they can be all they were created to be.

The Ministry belief’s in the following core values;

  • We believe in one God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit, Creator of all things.
  • We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, and was crucified for the sins of mankind; He died, was buried and rose from the dead on the third day. He ascended into heaven and is now seated at the right hand of God the Father and is true God and true man.
  • We believe in the Bible in its entirety to be the inspired Word of God and the infallible rule of faith and conduct.
  • We believe in the resurrection of the dead, the eternal joy of the saved, and the eternal punishment of the lost.
  • We believe in sanctification through the Word of God and by the Holy Spirit, and we believe in personal holiness, purity of heart and life.
  • We believe in water baptism, in the baptism in the Holy Spirit as distinct from the New Birth, and evidenced by speaking with tongues as the Spirit of God gives utterance (Acts 2:4).
  • We believe in the gifts of the Spirit, and the evidence of the fruit of the Spirit. We believe all these are available to believers.
  • We believe in the Christian’s hope – the soon-coming, personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Fountain Of Life Church Ministries, and Affiliations

  • Church 316

Before Church 3:16 was inaugurated, The Fountain of Life Church already had multiple micro-youth ministries in operation. However, Pastor Taiwo Odukoya recognized that this particular generation was seeking a platform for self-expression and a macro ministry for youth affairs was needed to nurture young people in leadership and spirituality, aligning with his vision for positive change in the nation.

Pastor Odukoya had a dream where he was instructed by God to care for the next generation, which inspired the establishment of Church 3:16 on February 7th, 2010. This church provided a radical platform for the youths of The Fountain of Life Church to worship and express themselves.

In 2012, leadership of the church was taken over by Pastor Jimmy Odukoya and his wife Pastor Kemi Odukoya, with support from Pastors Paul Briggs, Seun Shobo, Bisoye Okwoli, Oyindamola Lewis, and Oyinkansola Alabi. Church 3:16 has since continued to break new ground, with testimonies of transformational leadership and impact in the nation.

Fountain Of Life Church Missionary work

In recognition of the socio-economic difficulties faced by Nigeria and other developing nations, TFOLC is dedicated to spreading hope and demonstrating Christ’s love through its numerous outreach projects and initiatives.

In 2018, TFOLC commissioned a Social Impact Evaluation to evaluate its social responsibility programs spanning 15 years. The evaluation utilized quantitative and qualitative metrics to assess the effectiveness of the Church’s initiatives and produce a comprehensive report.

The findings revealed that TFOLC, alongside other Pentecostal Faith-based Organizations (FBOs), is actively involved in philanthropic ventures that provide assistance to the disadvantaged in the community. TFOLC is a committed stakeholder in driving development in Lagos State and advancing the realization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the country.

This publication showcases TFOLC’s ongoing social impact projects and collaborations in areas such as Rehabilitation and Reformation, Health, Education, Benevolence, Financial Literacy, and SME Empowerment.

  • Grace Springs Rehabilitation Home (GSRH)

Established in 2002, Grace Springs Rehabilitation Home (GSRH) was created to provide a safe haven for young children living on the streets, to rehabilitate and reunite them with their families and society. Since obtaining NGO status in 2004, the initiative has impacted over 24,000 beneficiaries. In 2020-2021, the program impacted a total of 1,558 beneficiaries.

Through a partnership with UNICEF, The Fountain of Life Church supports GSRH on a special initiative known as the Diversion Programme. In 2016, GSRH expanded its rehabilitation mandate to include children who have committed crimes. This expansion was designed to provide them with an alternative to being incarcerated in juvenile homes, police stations, or prisons, while also rehabilitating them. The Diversion Programme facilitates this mandate.

Key achievements for the 2020-2021 period include hosting non-residential rehabilitation programs that impacted a total of 1,414 children, running its fourth cycle of the UNICEF Diversion Programme, impacting 144 children, organizing a Christmas party for street boys in partnership with Fundawazi Foundation, and conducting a series of sensitization events and stakeholder engagements across Lagos State, as well as empowerment programs for selected children.

GSRH faces several challenges, including maintaining and repairing its facilities in Ikorodu, recruiting activity teachers to engage and train the children, and securing partners and sponsors.
