RCCG ASSISTANT GENERAL OVERSEER DIES AT 90
The Redeemed Christian Church of God, led by Pastor Enoch Adeboye, loses Assistant General oveseer to the cold hands of death. Prof Folagbade Aboaba, who was said to be one of the closest allies of the General Overseer, died this morning after a brief illness.
Prof Aboaba was born on March 8, 1933 in Lagos, Lagos State, Nigeria. He passed away on January 21st, 2023 in Surulere, Lagos State, Nigeria. He was aged 90.
Funeral dates are as follows;
- 7th February Wake Keeping, and
- 8th February Funeral.

The news of his death was disclosed in a statement by the national chairman of the Nigeria Institute of Agricultural Engineers, Prof Folarin Alonge.
In a tribute to his memory on the website of the institute, Alonge described the late scholar as one of the founding fathers of the institute who was always passionate about the growth of Agricultural Engineering and mechanisation in the country.
