NSPPD DAILY DEVOTIONAL FOR TODAY

The Topic for Today 20th March 2023 Is: Stubborn Pursuers

Focal Scripture: Psalm 18: 48
“He delivereth me from mine enemies: yea, thou liftest me up above those that rise up against me: thou hast delivered me from the violent man.”

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, David proclaimed that God had delivered him from the violent man. The violent man being referred to in this scripture was Saul. As soon as Saul came against David, David became a wanderer. David had already been anointed by Samuel as king of Israel; he was anointed to sit on the throne; but when Saul came against him, he wandered to Nob, then to Gath, and then to the cave of Adullam (see 1 Samuel 21, 22).

Friend, hear me as I hear the Lord: every stubborn pursuer that says you will not be settled in your destination, let the hand of the Lord come against them. Every stubborn pursuer that says you will not find space in your wealthy place, let the hand of the Lord strike them down. Every man that says you will not be free enough to sit on your throne and wear your crown, let the angels of God begin to pursue him. Let every pursuer go down.

How could a man be selected by heaven to sit on the throne, but he ended up in a cave because of stubborn pursuers? How could a man be destined for the throne, but ended up running from pillar to post because of stubborn pursuers? Hear me as I hear the Lord: every stubborn pursuer that says you will not enjoy God’s goodness in the land of the living, let the earth come against them. Let the earth swallow every man that says you will wander instead of sitting on your throne.

If you have been redeemed by the blood of Jesus, then you belong to the company of those who move from wandering to possession. If Jesus has redeemed you, then you have no business moving about aimlessly like a sheep without a shepherd. If Jesus has saved you, you will move from prophecy to fulfillment. If Jesus has saved you, no power of hell will keep you away from what God has destined for you. The stubborn pursuers are going down.

The days of wandering are over. The gates of your new season are open.

Psalm 7: 1 (TPT) says: “Yahweh my God, I turn aside to hide my soul in you. Save me from all those who pursue and persecute me.”

Declare With Me: Every stubborn pursuer against my destiny is going down, in Jesus’ name!
